Murchison Falls In Uganda

When did you try visiting Murchison Falls in Uganda ? Its one of the best places to visit in Uganda for vacation solo, family, experts, or with friends. As it has a lot to see, and actually cannot be finished in just little days.

How do you plan a trip to Murchison Falls in Uganda?

First of all, as you plan your trip, you set your list, and start thinking about the expectations, like which animals you would like to see, but having it in mind that its always nature offering you at it’s own pace. So you are most likely not to see all the animals as expected.

This is how our recent trip went

We left in the morning to Murchison falls with our first stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, for the Rhino tracking, where we had our lunch from the same place. We saw about 12 Rhinos on our walk with the sanctuary.

Thereafter, we had to proceed to Murchison falls national park, entered the park in the evening at 05pm, visited the top of the falls. Ahahahaa here it was just a welcome by the iconic sights and sounds. relaxing and taking dinner was the next, and then wait for the next day.

Day 2:

This is a Game drive and afternoon bot cruise. You be able to see a number of wildlife during these two activities, that include mammals like Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas, Warthogs (Pumba hakuna matata) a number of Antelopes, and many others. Then on a boat cruise done in the afternoon, and this will automatically be after getting lunch.

The boat cruise takes about 3 hours cruising along the Nile, and with this fully guided boat launch you be able to see a number of wildlife that include the following; Hippos,  Nile Crocodiles, Water birds like African Fish Eagle, Hamerkops, Kingfisher, and many others. You will be able to see other mammals that come to kill thirsty, by drinking water, and these include Elephants, Buffaloes, Water-buck and many others. 

After all this, you are not set for relaxation from the lodge, enjoying the iconic view, sunset, and the balcony view of the fantastic savanna grasslands.

Day 3: You are now set for the drive back to Kampala city, or the international airport for the flight back to your country.
